While on vacation in 2021, we decided to purchase a residence. We stayed at the Four Seasons at Hualalai in January of 2022 and fell in love with the resort and the area.  We met with Rob and he was very gracious with his time.  Though there were no houses on the market at that time, he spent several hours telling us about the neighborhood, explaining the different options within the neighborhood, and showing us any homes he could.  His extensive knowledge of Hualalai and the Hualalai market was extremely impressive. We had quite specific criteria in terms of what we were looking for in a home and Rob listened very carefully to our criteria and objectives.  In the summer, he reached out to us with a home that checked all our boxes. We toured the house in August and fell in love with it.  In a tight market like this in Hawaii, you want a real estate agent who knows the market inside and out and can bring to your attention (even before a house goes on the market) any homes that meet your goals.  Rob was definitely that agent.  He found us our dream home! In addition to his intimate knowledge of the market, we were extremely impressed by Rob's responsiveness.  We had a lot of questions throughout the process, and Rob always responded to us on a very timely basis.  He seemed to be available 24/7. Vivian was also a pleasure to work with.  She was extremely well organized and detail-oriented, and she kept us on track throughout the entire closing process.  We relied heavily on her closing tracker to make sure we didn't miss any steps or deadlines.  She was on top of the entire process, and we appreciated her reminder emails that ensured that nothing fell through the cracks. Regina was an absolute delight to work with and a terrific representative for us in selling our Hualalai home. We used Ku'uipo Valenzuela to purchase a lot in Hualalai in May of '21 in the height of the recent purchase boom. We can't recommend her more highly. Ku'uipo is knowledgeable, connected and responsive on email, text and the phone. All of these skills were critical for us as we are from Seattle and needed that extra care because we were going through the process. During our offer process, Ku'uipo understood (or was able to collect) deep background on the lot and its history of owners, and helped us secure our property even though there was a last-minute additional entrant. We literally were able to execute the purchase and sale minutes before a competing offer was coming in! Through the close process, Ku'uipo and the whole team at Hualalai Realty worked together to keep us informed on the needed steps we needed to take and what to expect. Again being remote, this was super important and well appreciated. Our close was seamless. Ku'uipo seems to know everyone at Hualalai - owners, team members and key service providers at the resort. As we are now in the process of envisioning our new home and getting a builder in place, she's used her connections to get us introductions to many builders and architects who are in exceptionally high demand.
